Can you feel it? Spring has finally sprung, and we’re vibing with the season of renewal over at Spank HQ. That being said, we closed out winter with a bang, not a whimper. Here’s everything that happened since February in case you missed it.

Contest with a cause
It’s a surprise to no one just how much we love a photo contest. But earlier this month, we decided to put a conscious spin on things with a special SpankMatch giveaway. All you had to do was have a complete profile on SpankMatch.com and post a screenshot of the QR code from your page. Three lucky winners were then selected for a free full-panel STI test and a free MGen test, with testing at the facility of their choice. You know what they say, sexual health is wealth!

Say it with us: Representation matters! We were absolutely HYPED to see the incredible Mikey Madison take home the Oscar for Best Actress for her role in Anora. Even better, Mikey explicitly thanked the sex worker community during her acceptance speech. Seeing sex workers portrayed in mainstream media, especially in a nuanced and empathetic way, is just as important as defending sex worker rights on Capitol Hill. Visibility is the seed of change, and we love to see it!

Destination: Denver
The team headed to Colorado for ETH Denver where Ameen led an important discussion on privacy at Pragma Denver. Then things got fun (and weird) at a literal knife fight (sparring, no blood!) that was hosted by SpankChain and friends. It’s hard to put into words if you weren’t there, but they do say a picture is worth a thousand words…
