As the holiday season kicked off with Thanksgiving, all of us over at SpankHQ have so much to be grateful for. Sure, there’s been highs and lows, but all in all, we’ve made so much progress as both a company and a political advocate for sexual and financial liberty. Here’s this past month’s highlight reel.

Debanking gets deleted
In addition to spreading holiday cheer this festive season, SpankU was also spreading truth. The team was honored to welcome Pierre Whatley, principal of the FS Vector strategic consulting firm for an informative talk about fighting financial discrimination, debanking the adult industry, and how FS Vector is playing their part. And just in case you missed it, make sure to read Emily Pennington’s latest lesson about the myths surrounding debanking and how crypto companies and other legal businesses are being unfairly regulated by the SEC and the FDIC.

Causes for celebration
Christmas and Hanukkah get all the attention this time of year, but it’s important not to forget about a very important December 17th, International Day to End Violence Against Sex Workers, or #IDEVASW. At SpankChain, we tend to talk about the financial mistreatment of sex workers, but the truth is many individuals in our community have and continue to suffer from physical abuse on and off camera, and it’s important to raise awareness.
No holiday season would be complete without a photo contest, and let’s just say a lot of you were on Santa’s naughty list (in the best way, of course). Thank you to all those who submitted their sexy, holiday-themed snaps and congrats to each of the three winners who took home 250 dollars!
