Is it us, or is summer not summering quite as hard as it should be? As the world descends into stormy times, we’ve decided to work on the proverbial sunny side of the street, doubling down on our for financial liberty and recommititng to our vision of a sex-positive future. If you’re feeling down from all the bad news of late, here’s some silver linings to brighten your mood.
EVENTS
Getting down to XBIZ
We’re not sad that it’s over, we’re happy that it happened… and of course, we’ll be back! XBIZ was epic as per usual. We hosted a booth and gave away a bunch of fun prizes, including a spankin’ new iPad. Spirits were high as we shared the big news about SpankPay coming back, and we scored 170 signups on the very first day.
We also threw a swanky white party to get in the Miami mood. Special thank yous are in order to @TheClaraKitty and @LanaRyderxxx for keeping this white hot at our little shindig.
SpankPay wasn’t the only product people were gushing over. SpankMatch continued to make waves, and we even held a special contest in its honor. We threw a party in its honor and invited Miami’s finest hes, shes, and theys, to come snap a sexy pic in their SpankMatch merch for a chance to win a gaggle of swanky gifts. Big thanks to Steven, our official cabana boy, for helping put on this fun event!

Print is not dead
You heard us. Our creative team put together a zine celebrating the world of spank and adult content creation, the proceeds of which went towards the FSC and their free speech-protecting causes. This fantastic art piece wouldn’t have been possible without the talented eyes of our photographer, Rick, and videographer, Rudy. Thanks guys!
If you weren’t lucky enough to swipe a copy, do yourself a favor by doing a good thing and donate to the FSC. We still have zines available, as well as Spank model signed t-shirts or merch.

Here at Spank, we love a good joke. And as they say, laughter is the best medicine. With that in mind, we were so happy to help sponsor Sunday Faire L.A.’s comedy event, all the proceeds of which went towards PASS.
EDUCATION
Age-verification: the not good, the bad, and the ugly
Make no mistake, no legitimate content creator or adult content professional wants kids watching porn. The fight for sex worker rights doesn’t mean a free-for-all when it comes to common sense and protecting kids from content that is not appropriate for them to watch. That being said, the age-verification laws that are currently being pushed by some legislators do more harm to free speech than good by America’s youth. While the situation doesn’t look great, those who care about free speech are catching on and pitching in to help. This includes the Walters Law Group and Silverstein Legal, who recently challenged Texas’s age-verification bill.
